refashion some not-so-awesomely-achieved clothing into beautiful blouses

In a previous post I showed my #memade wardrobe so far.

Since then, two of the garments got stuck in my head and I could hear the voices of the amazing Helen and Caroline from Love to Sew podcast whispering in my ear that I didn’t need to keep something just because I made it.

And I had donated something that I made (a couple of jackets, as an experiment), but for some reason I was keeping these two jumpsuits.

I think it was because I didn’t mind wearing them, I kinda liked them in fact, especially the fabric. But now that I am a little (really just a little) more evolved in my sewing, the lack of techniques and sloppy construction were bothering me.

So, I decided to get my seam ripper and rip those seams apart. No mercy.

I recently bought the Roscoe Dress/Blouse pattern and I was dying to make it. So…
